Top Snowboarding and Ski Goggles | The 10 Best Goggles & Reviews for 2013/2014 Season

Best Snowboarding Goggles

The snow season is now more than half way through and we received some great comments about our top snowboarding and ski helmet post from last week. The following is an overview of the top rated snow goggles of the 2013-2014 snow season. As we noticed Smith and Giro dominating the charts of helmets, the goggles data shows quite a bit of mixture through out the list. When deciding which goggle you are to buy, always keep in consideration: the conditions you will be riding in, your preferences for comfort, the effectiveness of the technologies these brands claim, the look of the goggle, and lastly and most importantly, your budget. Do your homework! First we highlight the main features (remember, these are the technologies and highlights the brand claims). the positives, negatives, colors available, recommended fit and lastly, the price. Let's take a look.

I also review the features of the I/O and finally present some photos I took at the SIA snow show in Denver of Smith's displays.

The Smith Optics I/O: Recon Review

The Smith I/O ReconThere are expensive versions of everything. It's our job to determine what's worth dropping some money on. An expensive TV? Sounds like an investment to me. Something you can probably froogle about, such as a stapler? I'll take the $10 one. What about snow goggles? Smith's I/O Recon is an example of just this. Is it worth it? Yes (if your bank account allows, of course).
